Chin Implant Surgery

An attractive face requires a delicate balance between facial features. An underdeveloped or weak chin can make the nose look out of proportion and reduce definition in the jawline. Dr. Eric Wright performs chin implant surgery in Little Rock, AR, to help women and men from North Little Rock, Conway, Benton, Hot Springs, and surrounding areas have a more defined profile and look more fit and youthful. He also offers nonsurgical chin augmentation with dermal fillers.

What is chin augmentation?

Chin augmentation is either a surgical or nonsurgical procedure to add volume, projection, and definition to the chin.

How is surgical chin augmentation performed?

Dr. Wright performs surgical chin augmentation as an outpatient procedure using either local anesthetic with IV sedation or general anesthetic. After selecting and sculpting the implant to the desired shape, he inserts it over the chin bone through an incision hidden inside the mouth along bottom lip or just under the chin in a natural crease.

Patients often combine chin augmentation with other facial plastic surgery procedures such as rhinoplasty, a facelift, neck lift, or eyelid surgery.

What is nonsurgical chin augmentation?

People who aren’t ready for surgery can choose nonsurgical chin augmentation performed using an injectable dermal filler like JUVÉDERM® VOLUMA®. Results are temporary but can last up to two years.
